What changed in Polish law
Since 1 June 2025 a new act on employing foreigners applies in Poland. Applications are electronic only, the contract must be in writing and sent to the authority before work starts, and fines for illegal employment range from PLN 3,000 to 50,000 per breach. Since 1 December 2025 the simplified declaration route covers only citizens of Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia. Workers from Asia need a type A work permit and a national visa. This is our daily work.
